WIN a freediving adventure in the Red Sea!

Could you be the next NoTanx Zero2Hero winner?

We’re looking for 12 total freediving novices to compete for the title - with a freediving trip to Marsa Alam in Egypt up for grabs, plus more great prizes to be announced.

No experience? No problem!

The only requirement to enter is that you are new to freediving.

We will turn you into a freediver ready for the all-expenses-paid trip of a lifetime - 7 days at Marsa Shagra Eco Village in the southern Red Sea - with Oonas Divers, Red Sea Diving Safari and the best freediving club in the world.

12 chosen competitors will learn the fundamentals of freediving over two pool sessions in London in February with Marcus Greatwood - NoTanx Freediving Club founder and coach to world record-holders - and his team.

Five finalists will then go on to compete at the Go Diving Show in Coventry on 1st & 2nd March.

Stage 1 FEBRUARY 26/27th :
Pool Sessions in London

The competition kicks off with two evening pool sessions in South London. During these two-hour sessions, participants will be guided by expert NoTanx instructors and supported by NoTanx members. You’ll:

  • Learn techniques to build awareness and relaxation.

  • Take part in fun games and exercises designed to challenge your adaptability.

  • Be assessed on your progression, with a focus on how you grow and adapt—not your starting point.

At the end of Stage 1, the top 5 competitors will move forward to Stage 2.

STAGE 2 MArch 1/2nd :
Dive Show statics

For the Top 5 the competition continues on Saturday at the Go Diving Show.

  • Top 5: 2 sessions with tailored coaching and an exclusive pool session covering static apnea and competition protocol.

  • Top 3: Will advance to the grand final showdown on Sunday : And will compete in an AIDA static competition.

    The Winner: It’s not about holding your breath the longest—it’s about showing self-awareness, relaxation, and perfect timing. Master these, and you could be crowned the Zero2Hero Champion!

Freediving in the Red Sea

The ultimate freediving holiday – based in the Southern Red Sea.

  • 7 Days diving on amazing coral reefs & wrecks based in an eco village near Marsa Alam, Egypt.

  • We stay in luxury tents on the beach with the amazing reef on our doorstep, all food is included with a dedicated chef ready to help with all dietary requirements.
